Shelley R. Meacham received her JD degree summa cum laude from Southwestern University School of Law in 1994. Mrs. Meacham has extensive experience in both civil and probate litigation. Today, her practice focuses primarily in the areas of probate, trust and estate litigation and administration.
Ms. Meacham handles all aspects of trust, estate and probate litigation matters, including trust and will contests, disputes between trustees or executors and beneficiaries, disputes concerning fiduciary and conservator appointments, fiduciary accountings and surcharge issues, contested heirship matters, contested and uncontested conservatorships and guardianships, trust and will interpretation issues, and financial elder abuse. She has extensive practice experience before the probate courts, civil courts and appellate courts.
Ms. Meacham also has extensive experience preparing estate plans and administering trusts, estates, guardianships and conservatorships. Ms. Meacham's estate planning practice includes the preparation of wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney for financial matters, durable powers of attorney for health care, and special needs trusts.
Ms. Meacham is an active member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
